Since the inception of Naadaneerajanam which is close to 20 years old now, we have given numerous group and solo performances at various platforms ranging from the Sai Kulwant Hall in Bhagawan’s physical presence to Institute Auditorium events and Hostel events. Every year we perform for various occasions in the Sai Kulwant Hall namely Guru Poornima, Krishna Janmashtami, Swami’s Birthday, and Shivarathri which is our main performance.

We have a very strong alumni connect who support us in every way possible like ensuring that the department has all instrument resources, conducting auditions for students, instrument repair, and much more. We practise regularly in the morning and occasionally in the night in the Tennis galleries in the Indoor Stadium. The auditions will be conducted at the beginning of the year.

“Music is the divine way to tell beautiful, poetic things to the heart.”

Naadaneerajanam

Naadaneerajanam a.k.a Naadaswaram is a unique musical department formed by the students of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning. We at Naadaswaram perform various genres of music primarily comprising of Carnatic and Western but are more popular for performing a fusion of the two contrasting styles of music. We have an artistic combination of both Western and Carnatic instruments where Clarinets and Saxophones form the western section and Thavil (percussion) represents the Carnatic section. Music gets a new flavor through fusion where we play Indian classical music with Western instruments.
