1. Open-Air Theatre: Collaborating closely with the maintenance department, AVID has established a state-of-the-art open-air theatre. This setup incorporates an LCD projection system and a sophisticated audio surround system, replicating the ambiance of a professional multiplex.

2. Immersive Audio: To elevate the movie-watching experience, we have integrated a powerful subwoofer. This ensures viewers can fully immerse themselves, whether it's feeling the roar of a jet in "Top Gun: Maverick" or sensing the emotional depth in "Chak De India."

3. Live Telecasts: Apart from movies, AVID proudly offers exclusive live telecasts of significant sporting events, including cricket and football matches. This includes premier tournaments such as the World Cup and the IPL.

A dedicated team comprising students and research scholars collaborates to edit films specifically for hostel viewing.
